Heparin allergy

I have read that this is rare, but I am trying to solve the mystery of my never healing "bruise" that I suspect is a burn or failure to coagulate, or something other than I got poked the wrong way. I heal very well and my platelets have never been below 300, last count 350. Has anyone else experienced this or know anyone who has? I am going to request a Heparin Skin allergy test and Blood Serum test. I am just at a loss. I don't want to lose my skin. What other options besides Heparin are there for a flush? Would it mean I would have to not use a port? That would suck so bad. Please help.
