Help ! Concered about Lupron dosage reduction.

Question about my dosage and wondering if this has been the case for others taking Lupron. I started Lupron last summer and have been on it ever since. I was due to run out of my prescription around March, so I called my oncologist and she called in a continuation of the prescriptions, as I don't see her until next month. I didn't actually talk to her, just her receptionist, so there was no discussion about dosage etc.

So today I went to get my monthly needle and overheard the nurse making a comment about the dosage. I asked, and she told me I was taking 3.75mgs the past couple of months, whereas I was initially taking 7.5mgs. March was my last dosage at 7.5mgs, unbeknownst to me, I have been taking a half dose now since. They called the pharmacy who confirmed the change, and that they had noticed it too and called my onc to confirm (no one spoke to me of the change).

Is this common to reduce dose after a while? I am now of course freaking out that I haven't been getting the right treatment for a couple of months.

Follow up on this, hoping someone can chime in.   I have heard from my oncologist's office, and they confirmed that yep, I should have been getting 7.5mgs.  Some mix up somewhere, and apparently I'm one of few who are on this high dose to begin with (guessing most BC patients are on 3.75).  I will go back to the 7.5mgs dose next month, and next month is also when I see her again.

This "oopsie" is NOT boding well wilth my cancer-related anxiety !!!!  I have not had any issues that i'm aware of, but I also wasn't having periods to begin with before I started the Lupron (but tests confirmed I was still pre-menopausal). 

I am freaking out now thinking that I've been under-treated !  Again, only spoke to the receptionist, but I asked her if the doctor said this was an issue and she said no, it wouldn't be.  And if i'm a-ok at 3.75 for 3 months, why am I on such a high dose to begin with?  Wondering what others take.
