Breast Surgeons in Dallas/Fort Worth

Hello.  I am newly diagnosed.  I have IDC, Stage I/II, Grade 3.  I have appointments with two doctors.  Dr. Mary Brian in Bedford and Dr. Alison Laidley.  Does anyone have any information on either of these doctors that would help me make a decision?

    Hi...I'm in the DFW area as well ((hugs))

    I am not familiar with either of these doctors, my BS is Amy Eastman and she is in Rockwall. I also saw Dr. Sally Knox she is at big Baylor in Downtown and she is highly respected in the area.

    Will these be your first appointments with a BS? I recommend taking someone with you that can help you remember what is discussed and also writing a list of questions to take with you.

    Hi!

    Thank you tangandchris!  I will look into Dr. Sally Knox.  I have not heard of her yet.  I had my first appointment last Thursday and have another appointment this Thursday.  I did take my husband with me to the first one and he will go again to the second one. 

    Thank you again!  This site has already been a great resource.  I look forward to making many more contacts!

    If I could choose anyone in DFW it would be at UTSW because they are an NCI Cancer Institute
