Question about micro calcifications

In my recent mammo and subsequent diagnostic mammo they found a cluster of 12 micro calcs. I am scheduled for biopsy on the 17th. Obviously I'm freaked out.

I have a ton of things going on right now. My husband is on short term medical disability, we are getting ready to move across country to be closer to my aging parents, my kids just finished up the school year and bam this happens and my brain just shut down.

So last night I'm thinking about this again and I don't know why I didn't remember before, except that my life is crazy right now, but 6 weeks ago I was in a car accident with my brand new, 3 day old car. I was rear ended at a stop light by a freight liner truck (a very big truck). I had significant pain in my right breast afterwards where the seatbelt went across it. After my diagnostic mammo I pain in that same area when I wore my seatbelt. So the area they examined is the same area that I hurt in the car accident.

Can micro calcs be caused by blunt force trauma to the breast? I'll still have the biopsy, but should I tell them about this?

Could be I guess, but I doubt it. Most of us develop breast calcifications as we age. They are only concerning when they form groups or certain patterns. Still, the vast majority of biopsies for this turn out benign.
