high blood, pressure and arimidex

I have always had really low blood pressure but after almost 2 years on arimidex, during which i have had a couple of breaks, my bp was 179/104  the 149/99 etc over last few days.  Does drop down again at times to 107/70 normal for me but even 120/80 is high for me.  I have been on the arimidex without a break for 7 months now and wondered if it can raise bp.  Have also had a constant headache for weeks.

Dr said headache was my neck and I am due to start physio .  Feel tempted to take a 2 week break to see but worry about taking anymore breaks.  Does anyone know what the oncs say on having breaks.  I have had 2 2 week breaks and one month.  I know my onc said 2 weeks wont make any difference but how often can you do this.

Now that I think back, my blood pressure was higher when I was on arimidex, along with SEs.  I hadn't thought they were connected - just the stress of BC.  I was switched to Tamoxifen last December by my MO and my blood pressure is back to normal.  Interesting!  Maybe you could talk to your MO and switch to a different AI or Tamoxifen to see if it makes a difference.
