Introperative radio therapy.

My mum can have an intraoperative radiation therapy on the NHS in 1.1/2 months time. Or can get the life saving surgery next week privately for early stage breast cancer. Cost less for the NHS to use intraoperstive radiation therapy and suffering is reduced for the patients treatment. Concentrates the radiation on the cancer spot instead off the whole body. Patience still require 5 years medication and doctors checks incase cancer comes back. How come this has not already being used by the NHS?
