NYC experiences
hello all,
I'm looking for experience with BS and treatment in NYC facilities. I've been to 3 for opinions. I'm starting to panic about who to go with.
Weill Cornell, NYU and Memorial Sloan Kettering.
NYU is my most comfortable but I would love to her others thoughts. Thanks in advance!

Mira, I've been very happy with the care I've received at Lenox Hill. Please send me a private message if you'd like any further info.

I've been followed (high risk) by Freya Schnabel at NYU since 2011 and have had a good experience. Feel free to PM me if you have specific questions.
I used a PS from Weill Cornell (Mia Talmor) and loved her. I would highly recommend her-- compassionate, highly skilled and responsive. I have also heard good things about Swistel (BS) at Cornell-- have a few friends who have used him.

I found out about Freya Schnabel at NYU after the fact. I wish I would have met her/known of her beforehand.I went to NYU for chemo and should have went there for everything. Marleen Myers for oncology should you need chemo is my recommendation.

Hi
I had a GREAT experience at Mount Sinai. Elisa Port for surgery, Sheryl Green for radiation. The Dubin center is an amazing facility.

Hello
I am at Sloan Kettering, not crazy about oncologist. She does not seem to do any follow up test just checks blood to see if you can get chemo that day. I thought that sloans was best cancer hospital in the world so I am confused. Gas anyone used sloans in Manhattan

Very happy with Freya Schnabel ans Marleen Meyers at NYU. NYU provides very comfortable environment in each step of the way.
Please feel free to PM me with any questions or concerns.

Hi, I had my Lumpectomy done in March at Sloan in NYC. I am currently undergoing chemo at MSCC in Rockville Center, Long Island. I've had a great experience with my BS and MO there. The hospital is beautiful and the staff are more than competent.

alexandra heerdt at msk is an amazing bs with also great bedside manner. Knowledgeable and calm and warm. I have had a really good experience at msk altogether.
