Here is an easy to understand summary of a recent study comparing Tamoxifen to Arimidex (an aromatase inhibitor) . It is great when we are given new options to consider.

    My MO prescribed exemestane (Aromasin) off label for my DCIS despite it not being standard protocol because tamoxifen was contra-indicated in my case for various reasons. She told me that the studies were coming out that an AI was good for DCIS and it was just a matter of time before they would be prescribed as often as they are for invasive BC.
