Hi everyone-

I had found a lump in my left breast a couple weeks ago. Saw my gyno who did a breast exam on both breasts and sent me for further examination. Last Monday, I had mammo ( clean ) and US on both my right and left breast. Radiologist wanted to biopsy the lump I found on my left breast. It was solid but oval, defined edges, not vascular but was mildly hypo echoic. I receive my results this coming Tuesday.

Tonight (Sunday) I felt a pain in my right breast and felt a new lump!!! I know it was not there before. What is happening? What could cause this? I am certain it was not there. I am in shock. I had the mammo and US on both sides just a week ago and the right side was clean. Anyone have any ideas?

MAmmos don't always detect breast cancer first off so thank god you got a ultra sound and finally a biopsy.  Did they give you a birad score? And second thats awful you found a second lump. I feel sorry for you and at risk of sounding like a broken record most are benign.  Call your Dr. tomarrow as it can happen in both. Best of luck.

Thanks for the response dsw1976. My ultrasound birad was a 4b. The radiologist wanted to test based on my age (46) , a couple small black spots and some gentle lobulations. It is pretty small 9mm wide and under 5mm tall. I felt good leaving the biopsy but the waiting does start to get the best of you and then to feel this lump literally pop up. I know it was not there for my CBE a week an half ago because my doctor would have mentioned it and there was no mention of anything to me during my ultrasound. I am definitely calling doctor tomorrow. I just really can't believe something else popped up.
