Hello my BC sisters I am reaching out to you for some major advice. I had a double mastectomy March 2012 with

immediate reconstruction. I was lost without my nipples and very upset. I had nipple reconstruction done and they

flattened. February 2015 i tried the alloderm and that has failed. Why is this so important to me? I feel like without

nipple projection my partner wont enjoy my breasts. I know there is no sensation but I was told by Dr Weiss all you

need is a great imagination which i have. Is this the end of the road for me as far as nipples goes? I really could use

some feedback. Thank you all and God bless.

Hey Pink,

Sounds like you did everything you could to get your nipples back to your satisfaction but perhaps some ladies will come along with additional suggestions.

I lost one nipple with my reexcision...in all honesty, I wouldn't care if the second one was gone to so I don't have to deal with the one sided headlight syndrome. I will not be doing tattoos or nipple recon.

If a guy didn't like my lack of protrusion, I would say eff em. Their problem, not mine.

I haven't taken the leap to nipples yet. Funny part is I have a zit on one that is better placed than my nipples ever were. I'm still debating just a tattoo or go for the gusto.
