waiting for core biopsy test results on Tuesday

Hi everyone-

A week and a half ago I found a small lump in the shower. I saw my Gyno the next day she said it was rubbery and was not overly concerned but sent me in for Diagnostic Mammo and US. Last Monday I had the screening. The Mammo came back clear. The radiologist came in after the US and asked for more info. When I told her I thought it was a new lump she said she wanted to test it then. The core biopsy was Friday. It was 9mm wide by 5mm tall. When I asked the radiologist what characteristics favored the mass being benign she said it was wider than tall, oval, not spiculated, not vascular, not tender anymore now that my period had arrived. The concerning factors were my age (46), some "gentle" lobulations, a couple black spots inside. Obviously, I am very worried. Anyone have experience with similar characteristics? Tuesday seems like a long time away!

Unfortunately, I got a positive for cancer test result. IDC grade 1 er + pr+ her - . Let's hope after further tests it stays that way.
