JO-5, I'm sorry no one has responded, unfortunately I don't have experience with what your describing. Could it be a diep but with no fat just using the skin and attaching blood supply?

Bumping for someone to add more knowledge.

JO-5, I did have fill diep reconstruction March 10 and found the first three weeks extremely difficult as I HATE sleeping on my back so recovery was probably delayed due to extreme lack of sleep. At around a month I was able to sleep on my preferred side and found that made a huge difference- healing and movement quickly responded! Please keep in mind this was full immediate diep. Hope this helps somewhat.

I thinkas this may be a latissimus dorsi flap as they can bring round as much or as little tissue as they want with this surgery, but can you ask a Nurse what is meant by this as it could be either, if there is no breast shape being recreated I think a lat dorsi is more likely as it is a lot less invasive.........
