Removed all lymph nodes

Hi all,

I am frantically writing this while my mom is recovering from her double mastectomy. She had one positive lymph node with cancer but the doctor just told me that she decided to just remove them all. This is what she and I feared the most. She fears having to deal with lymphodem, and other complications that follow that.

Please give me positive words. Any one out there have all their nodes removed and are ok?
