Hi, I am back again after 4 1/2 years. Last time I had a B9 finding from a cyst that had erupted and looked suspicious. Back at the beginning of April I notice a small indent/retraction in skin right next to my nipple on the same breast. I went & saw my GP and she didn't want to do anything about & said it was a scar from my surgery tape. What? that was over 4 yrs ago. So I made an appt with a gyn and he sent me to get a diagnostic mammo & US. Mammo showed nothing but ultra sound showed a 1.3 x 1.0 cm ill-defined hypoechoic region with posterior shadowing. I met with the BS today and I am scheduled for a core biopsy on Monday morning. I was just wondering if anyone could give any insight to my report and what I should expect with the biopsy. The BS was surprised that nothing showed up on my mammo but did show up on ultrasound and the fact that he can't feel any mass or lump. I'm a little nervous this time and am trying not to worry this much. Any insight would be well appreciated .
