upper arm pain after bmx?

Ok, so I had my bmx with right sentinal lymph node removal on 5/19. My under arm area all the way down to about my elbow(on the underside area of arm) is still super tender and very numb at the same time?!? I'm assuming this normal but just wanted to make sure.

Yes, this is normal and may take longer than you expect to dissipate, but it usually does.

lulu - no need to worry, and I am not feeling crappy - I'm just doing what I have to in order to get to the other side of recon.  I tolerate surgery very well - I have done loads of laundry today, washed and dried my hair, took a sponge bath due to my drain, etc.  It's all good.  If all goes well I will have another expander placed at the end of the year - do slow fills, and then exchange and maybe fat graft again.  It will be a bit before I am done.  One thing that helps is that I am far enough from diagnosis that this is just a nuisance, and not really tied up with cancer, at least for me - I am not really emotional about it at all.  Your sweet offering to talk is much appreciated and generous, and I am thankful for the good wishes!
