please advice … possible tumor at uterus

HI ALl,

I did a PET scan last month and it was clear.

I am following with nephrology for my leg edema and he order ultrasound and blood test

today i went to the US and the Tec. mentioned that she see something on the uterus like orang size, I told her i did hys 4 years back but the doctor left the cervix but she is suspecting something

I am worried I need to know dose the PET scan accurate or not ? is there is a possibility that PET scan dose not detect a tumor ?

It could be a fibroid, or a cyst. I would think that a clear PET trumps an ultrasound. Cancer shows up as lit up on a PET scan. Surely, something as large as an orange would have lit up last month if it were cancer. I would think that a PET scan, if anything, produces false positives more than false negatives.

I have mixed feelings and all what i want is no more tests or scans, i am done
