Bras

Hi All, My surgery scar is exactly where my bra edge rubs. So far I have had to just wear tight-fitting tank tops with no bra. They aren't very flattering underneath clothing though, and it's so hot to wear two layers in summer. Their seam comes further out, an inch away from the scar, which does make them comfortable. Does anyone know of any bras that come further out or in than usual? I don't want to wear a sports bra because they hurt my back.

Thanks!

Boy, not off the top of my head. However, every brand I've tried on hits me someplace a bit different. Perhaps go to a lingerie store or a department store with a big "Intimates" department and try, try, try.

    Good luck!

I just bought a SPANX bra called brallelujah.  I haven't tried it yet but I think it might work for you.  It is like a sports bra but much softer.  I will give it a try and let you know how it looks under clothes.  It says it lifts like underwire without the underwire! All my "before" bras are underwire so they are out!

Also someone on another forum mentioned bras from Yummie.

Another suggestion - bandaids! I covered my IMF scars after my exchange w/ bandaids for awhile when they were still really sensitive. Then I started w/ the silicone scar strips once the PS said I could start putting something on them. They don;t hurt alt all now.
