I have completed cycle 2 of 4 of TC. This is day 10 and both my wrist are red, sore with slight swelling. 24 hrs ago I had a temperature of 101, but it subsided. Now I have this wrist rash. Has anyone else experience this

Sheba you should call the drs office, they have a 24 hour number for cancer patients, and let them know. Sounds like you could be having an allergic reaction. I called the office when I needed to day or night...they want you to call! Let us know what they tell you. Hugs.

Sheba - absolutely call and go get it checked.  While it could be an allergic reaction, that specific an area may be cellulitis, esp if you are running a temperature.   You are probably at the peak of low white blood cells to fight it off based on your chemo date.   You need to have your blood work checked.   They want you to call at 100.5.    You really could be neutropenic (not enough WBC).      Keep us posted and take care!

Saw the oncologist. He said I have hand-foot syndrome from the Taxotere. He is a little concerned because it usually effects the feet also. So far it is just both my wrist and now my fingers are starting to peel. He recommend trying Udderly Cream twice a day and I have a prescription for Triamcinolon Cream. He is also looking at decreasing my Taxotere dose for the last 2 treatments. My blood count came out good. My WBC were a little elevated, but doc thinks it is due to the neulasta shot I got last week. So for now it's a wait and see.

So glad you know what it is. Did not know chemo could do that...I am always learning from my sisters.
