"who wouda thought"........... TEN years later.
Hi there Ladies. The above, " who wouda" was uttered by my breast surgeon back in 2005 when I got the dismal tsk tsk , poor prognosis blah blah blah breast cancer diagnosis.
To give the good doc his dues... he is excellent surgeon, and I am sure part of my " good outcome" was due to his skill. He just had a lousy bedside manner.
Anyway, I struggled to post this as I reeling from profound losses of family members, and dear dear friends, along with other loved ones that are very very ill.
All were healthy back when I was diagnosed and cried and prayed for me,,,,, Now it's TEN years later and I am alive and well.
No one in this life know " how long we have". My message is live life and always be kind.
Wine doesn't hurt either!!
with gratitude,
Linda

congratulations Linda. I like your philosophy
.
We don't know why things work out the way they do. All we can do is be grateful for and enjoy our blessings and help others in their times of need.

Thanks for a very uplifting post!

Linda,
I just happened to pop in tonight and saw your post. I'm not on here much anymore but I do remember you from when I was diagnosed 9 1/2 years ago. I have experienced the same thing-people who prayed for me are no longer here and I thought for sure that I would never outlast them. I also agree with the wine. Just had a glass with dinner. Maybe I will have a second in honor of you.

Amen, girlfriend! You have an awesome life philosophy. I'm so sorry about the losses you have suffered, and for those of your loved ones who are ill.
I'm trying to be a better person, a more thankful, kind and loving person, every day. Thank you for the reminder!
