Please I need talking of the ledge.  I was dx 2013 stage 1 grade 2 node neg. Er pos her2 neg idc.  Clear margins. 1cm tumour.  Sounds good but i have been in a state of fear since.  Have had so many scares, so many scans everything recently apart from brain, so yes now I am convinced I have brain met.

Dr says it is coming from my neck but it feels odd.  It is a pain just over right ear, sometimes over eye mainly at temple.   neck does hurt too.  spoke to radiological onc who said in my case it would be extremely extremely unlikely but then I think I am the unlucky one whose cancer has gone straight to her brain.

No one wants to do an mri at this point and they suggest physio.  I try to forget it but it feels so tender even chewing hurts .  I had a test to rule out temporal arteritis it was clear.

I just wondered if it sounds like a brain met to anyone.

Its sunday a bank holiday here in uk so everything closed till tuesday and I feel scared and alone.

Oh Maria....I agree that much more likely that something wrong with your neck. This even could be tension-related. So while waiting to be sure, what about doing the simple things that could address neck pain and tension? That would be taking a nice hot fragrant bath and immersing your neck and shoulders. You could have some calming tea or wine at the same time.

Then rub the area with Arnica gel to reduce pain.

This is a gorgeous time in England....I have been there many times. So time for a walk somewhere special with lovely flowers. This to take you out of yourself. The walking itself will make you feel better, and even better if lovely flowers and/or thrilling scenery.

One more thing. Try lovely scent throughout your home to calm and refresh you. So candles after you are done with the bubble bath.

Do all these things, and then get checked out. Because you want to be able to enjoy the spring and your life ahead. - Claire
