Can I just stay on tamoxifen?

I know I have a lot of time to make this decision, but I've been thinking about it. My MO recommends tamoxifen for 5 years and then an AI for 5 years. I'm not so sure I want to try the AI's. I know you probably think I should try the AI's and see how it goes, but I'm not sure I want to. Anything wrong with tamoxifen for 10 years? I have been on it for 4 months and the only side effects I have are some warm flashes. I see my MO next month and will ask her.

Hi Nancy,

I feel the same way about remaining on Tamoxifen (since 2011) I don't find it too bad at all, so would prefer to not change over.
