... More like not covered...
I cannot find a beast surgeon or plastic surgeon in network. I had no idea I was purchasing such a terrible insurance plan! We own our own business and I thought we would do well to buy new insurance on the exchange since our old plan was non-compliant and didn't even fully cover preventative care. I even used my broker to purchase. I cannot believe he sold me this plan and I am very seriously considering calling an attorney.
I am three weeks out from my DCIS dx awaiting MRI next Saturday and totally in limbo without surgery scheduled. I need a mastectomy (large lesion, small breast) and I don't really want to use a random doctor! Or a PS who does reconstruction occasionally. I'm 43.
I cannot be the only person having this problem!
Anyone have experience gaining a gap exception?
