hi

I was 29 years old when diagnosed with breast CA stage 1 iat the right breast ,and had my breast removed (modified radical mastectomy ). Now, almost after 2 years of surgery, I discovered yesterday that there is a lump just under the scar of the mastectomy. And a shooting pain is present. I think the pain comes from the lump itself. it's painful when i do deep palpation.im so scared. Im scared again. Please can somebody help me. Anyone who could give info or advice. Or someone who had experienced same thing.

Hi joyishapi, and welcome to Breastcancer.org,

We're sure you'll find our wonderful Community an amazing source of information, support, and advice. Others will surely be along shortly to offer their support!

Only your doctor can tell you if this is something to worry about, so we suggest giving him/her a call to set up an appointment. Hopefully a thorough check with your doctor will provide some peace of mind and that is invaluable!

Please let us know how your appointment goes and how else we can support you!
