Pain Relief while waiting for treatment

I was diagnosed May 15th with IDC in the left breast 5cm mass behind the nipple after a clear mammo in December. I have been dealing with symptoms and convincing my doctor to send me back was a fight but here we are. Waiting for more details and next steps which I find out tomorrow but I have a very swollen and sore breast and I am wondering if anyone has tips or tricks to ease the pain ?
