my wife does hand exercise with a spring type hand pusher and often finds that she is able to put less pressure from the right arm( affected arm with MRM AND ALND DONE) Then the left arm(normal side)
is this normal?

If she is right handed then the right hand is supposed to be stronger. I am not familiar with grip exercises but I think breast cancer surgeries do not affect those muscles. Unless she has lymphedema, I am not familiar with lymphedema. If the arm affected by surgeries is weak it may be time to see physical therapist again. I saw one for the first time couple weeks ago, over a 1.5 years after the surgery, it was very interesting. I hope your wife regains her strenght.
