Having my surgery on the 29th...

Hello, I have literally just joined this forum. After a routine mamogram on April 1st got a call back to hospital, biopsy carried out. Found a 9mm lump. I had to ask how big that is as I'm still in imperial measurements. Feeling anxious but hopeful. :)

    Yes Bimbo, welcome! There will be a tread with your surgery month, and chemo month if you do have chemo. I joined the Sept 2013 group when I started, and we still talk and share. It can be very encouraging to go thru treatment with others at the same time. Please explore this wonderful site, you will find tons of info and the best people.

    It can also help to go to the Forum for your type of BC as most of the women who reply there will be dealing with the same type as there are differences in the different types (LCIS, DCIS, ILC, IDC, IBC). There are MANY Forums for all sort of topics so scroll down and jump in the ones that 'fit' you.
