Severe abdominal pain on arimidex and chemo

Hi,

I had severe abdo pain during chemo which was treated w codeine, and marijuana cookies, as I live in California. My lipase levels were up...related to pancreatitis. Same pain began five days after starting arimidex and was hospitalized and stopped arimidex, although onco wanted me to stay on it. Oncologist actually is a gentle person who yelled "metastases" when I told her I didn't see the rationale for living in. Severe pain to extend my life. Endoscopy and GI MDs have not determined cause, telling me it is probably Not related to meds. What?

Now stomach is showing inflammation although I haven't been on meds for five weeks.

I understand the importance of adjuvant meds to increase survivability odds, but cannot imagine five to ten years with pain like this. I'm dealing w this by taking a dive trip and am due to start another med when I return.

Anyone else have severe abd pain w adjuvant meds? Please let me know if you have had abdo pain w adjuvants and how you tried to deal with it.
