Hello!

I'm looking to connect with TCHP survivors. I had my first treatment May 7th and struggling. Can you please share your side effects.

I have been struggling with shortness of breath n bone pain. Has anyone out there had similar SE? Did you experience any heart or lung problems?

Tayhante, nice to meet you, and welcome. Did I see on another thread that you have IBC? that is my diagnosis. I did not recve your chemo, I had AC and Taxol, but I wanted to respond to your post. If you are short of breath you should call the nurse at your oncologist office, just to let them know, Are you also taking steriods this first week? I did, and it was the steriods that were giving me shortness of breath. I tried to push thru it, but as AC has some nasty cardiac SEs, I did cut back on the steriods, not the chemo. I wanted every drop of that stuff to help me win! But do check in with the nurse to let them know about your shortness of breath.

So nice to meet you. I have been struggling with so many nasty side effects. I joined this site to connect with "real" ladies to learn more about their experience. I had my first infusion March 7 and the SE have been non stop. My oncologist thinks it will get better next week.

Yes the breathing issues were frightening. For 4 days i couldn't sleep n my breath was so shallow on the right side. From Monday-now I have had diarrhea. Imodium n pepto bismol doesn't work. Sharp pains come n go.

I am integrating accupture into my care. I know my body is overwelmed by all these drugs. Did you have diarrhea? How many days did your diarrhea last? How did you manage it?
