I have my lumpectomy Friday and just tonight I started having pain right behind my left nipple. It was a dull aching, pinching, burning pain which reminds me of the pain I have in my right breast where my tumor is. I had a mammogram on that breast after diagnosis and they found a normal lymph node that they had to ultrasound just in case. My breasts are extremely dense, should I call my doctor? Also, my legs/knees throb everyday in pain, and have headaches often, had jaw pain yesterday..none of my doctors seem concerned but I definitely am :( what should I do!? Wish I didn't have to be nervous for every ache and pain I experience. Please help!

Not sure if it matters but I am BRCA 1/2 negative.

I don't really have an answer, but hopefully, someone else here will. If it makes you feel any better, I have extremely dense breasts, too and during the mammograms and ultrasound, they found other places in both my good and bad breast. But after the biopsies, they turned out NOT to be the Big C. I believe they mentioned fiber cystic. Yes, it's hard not to imagine the very worst once we are diagnosed. Wishing you the very best outcome on Friday! My surgery was also on a Friday. Take it easy over the weekend!
