Side pain

Options

I was diagnosed in December. Did surgery radiation and have begun Lupron shots that will accompany Femara. Mid day yesterday a developed this sharp pain under my right breast (non cancerous side) that hurts when I take a deep breath, laugh etc. It's high up. Aleve helps some. It doesn't hurt at all if I lay flat on my back. Could this be lung mets? Do I just wait for two weeks and see if it goes away? I had a chest CT in mid April for my radiation planning session. I assume they would've seen something then? Someone talk me off the ledge!

Hi Shelley, I assume if this was a lung met the CT would've picked it up. I have pains on the same side off and on. It seems like lifting, housework, etc. always affect that side on me.

Have you had a respiratory infection with a cough or anything lately? You can crack a rib by coughing and can also have soreness from cartilage being stretched, andpulled muscles.. Any heavy lifting, etc.? I think gall bladder pain can also present like that. However, I'm no doctor and if you're concerned, by all means call your doctor.

No respiratory infections lately but I had a horrible crying spell on Friday. Not sure if that did something.
