Hi Ladies,

I started doing Kettlebell sport in October/November, had to stop during radiation, it was too much for me and then restarted in January. I had my first competition this past weekend and loved it! Completely addicted to it now :) My question is do any of you have any advice for breaking up the scar tissue from radiation? It's been 6 months since I finished and I still feel very tight and sore. I think I would be much better at this KB thing if I could lose some of the adhesions.

Arm exercises will get the blood flowing to the area. Then you can massage the pecs and the spaces between the ribs. A PT just showed me how today. I'll see if I can find a YouTube Video. In case I don't find anything you need to let your arm hang down, then grab the pectoral muscle somewhere near the axilla and knead it as deeply as you can bear it. Maybe ask your doctor first if this is ok as I have no idea if this could trigger lymphedema.

you can get the idea for self massage from this.
