Results Today or It Ain't Over Until the Fat Lady Sings

Good Morning All! Today is the day for my core biopsy results, one week after my surgeon deemed the mass in my right breast a tumor that is worrisome for chest muscle involvement and said it would need chemo to possibly shrink it before surgery. However, even though this mass has all the hallmarks on mammogram, ultrasound, and well quite frankly it's just growing rapidly and feels like something ugly, it ain't over until the fat lady sings! So I'm going to go get ready for work, put my game face on, and stay positive. Love and prayers to everyone here going through this. You give me strength

No pathology report yet because the pathologist wants a second opinion due to what was seen. It is positive for cancer but they aren't sure what kind because there were bone cells in it so I will wait another week. When asked what it could possibly be the surgeon said sarcoma or osteosarcoma but that it could still be a breast cancer. So she ordered blood tests, x-ray, MRI, and referrals to oncologist and a plastic surgeon for the reconstruction. I will most likely have a full mastectomy.
