Sleeping Normally?

I had a unilateral mastectomy of my right breast on 3/2 with DIEP reconstruction (stomach tissue used & tummy tuck). I slept in a recliner for a few weeks but finally moved to the bed with help from a wedge pillow about a month after surgery. I HATE sleeping on my back and it's starting to drive me nuts being elevated. I just want to sleep normally. How long was it before any of you were able to sleep on your side and felt like you were sleeping somewhat comfortably?
