I have multifocal with micrometastasis in one lymphnode. But it's my first cancer.

    • Yes. My recurrence is multifocal. I had 2 different tumors. One was at the spot of original tumor. The second was several inches away growing in the soft tissue. They thought it was a lymph node until they sent it for testing and determined it was neither a node norbreast tissue. They took 13 other nodes...all negative. The 2 tumors had different pthology from each other, and both were different from original tumor. Both were more aggressive than my original tumor. I am in the midst of chemo...again

Yes, three tumours were found in my right breast when I had a double mastectomy 2 years ago, one 2.5 cm at 8 o'clock, one 3cm under my nipple, and one 1.5cm at two o'clock. My lymph nodes couldn't be checked because they'd all been removed 18 years before, when I had my first breast cancer. This was my third unrelated breast cancer. I also had bc 5 years previously, in my left breast. I had no lymph node involvement in either of my previous cancers, despite the fact that none of them were small. Mammograms never found any of my cancers, probably because I had dense breasts.

Right side 2 tumors, only 5 mm apart. One is biopsied (the other one only showed up on mri after biopsy). They think the 2 are related since I have lobular cancer.

yes I had 2 tumors 4 cm apart. 95 percent sure they were totally separate after pathology from mastectomy. One was ILC and the other idc. The was my first occurrence same size probably occurred at the same time. This stuff is so scary.
