bone mets. what was the symptoms ?

I am complaining from headach since more than 4 years, my doctor just prescribed pain killer for me


recently i changed my oncologist and he asked me to do CT head to rule out brain mets. and he mentioned he is not really suspected mets as no other symptoms.


I am panicked and not sure what to expects.

    fadheir:are you asking about mets in the bone or skull or mets in your brain? I have multiple bone mets in my femurs,ribs,pelvis and shoulder none in my skull but I have had no symptoms. I have no pain or discomfort-I wish I could help you more hopefully someone will be able to give you some advice. Best of luck I'll be praying for you.

    it looks I write bone instead of brain


    I mean brain mets, it looks like symptoms differ.

    fadheir, so far as I know (I have not experienced this), brain mets symptoms tend to be things like "can't remember anything", double vision, stuff like that.

    I don't think headaches are the usual.  Possibly you have migraines?  Or simply headaches?

    You could read a little on the stage IV Brain Mets thread where they may discuss symptoms.
