Anyone "fail" Zoladex?

I had my fourth Zoladex injection last week and MO is concerned that although estradiol levels have dropped (periods stopped--check, hot flashes--check), my FSH level should be high, but they are not. She thinks I need an endocrinologist. A gyn-oncologist suggested I just remove my ovaries. But I am just not up to having another surgery right now. Spot checking the drug company's literature I saw something about some women needing a double dose, i.e. one implant on each side of their abdomen. Has anyone else run into this?? I am 47 but VERY premenopausal, apparently.
