Any Stage 1 decline tamoxifen?

Anyone stage one that declined tamoxifen and had bilat mastectomy and ACT chemo with high on other test score?

Did you get mets any place and if so, how long after madtectomy?

Hi Reg, just saw your post, before someone else responds who has been in that situation, may I ask why you are thinking about not doing tamoxifen? just curious, and hope you get responses soon.

If you had cancer that required chemo, why not just give tamoxifen a try?

My cancer was stage 1, and I did tamox for 2.5 years. No side effects.

I was grade 1, and I think that aggressiveness is really important when considering not doing a recommended treatment

I didn't have an mx but rather a lumpectomy. You'll see from my signature that I had very high Onco score and Ki-67, also completed dd AC/T. Tried Tamoxifen twice but stopped. Almost 3 years since end of chemo and 2 years since Tamoxifen and I'm still dating NED!

I strongly encourage you to at least give Tamoxifen a try. And if you choose otherwise, to completely understand and acknowledge the increased risk you are taking. Good luck
