I believe you are referring to Valter Longos study. It's really interesting and I'm thinking of trying it with my first chemo wed. I will run it by my MO and if she says no, I will have to think about it. There is another thread on here- I think it is titled 'fasting before chemo'

Let us know what your doc says, slv. I'm not sure I could have tried this with chemo as my blood counts were so low they had to delay chemo a couple of times. And I was not fasting at all. Maybe it would be enough to restrict calories if you have room to maneuver with blood counts. They say chemo also regenerates the immune system. So this would happen with fasting or without, maybe just faster with.
