Tumor Marker test fine...3 months later new lump!!

I am feeling very worried. I am 1.5 year post my mastectomy surgery. Did 6 rounds of chemo (FECD) 18 Herceptin. 25 round rads.


Finished Herceptin 5 weeks ago. In the fall/early winter I had MRIs done that showed NED

In January 2015 I had Tumor Marker blood work done that came back fine (6)

I have never had issues with scar tissue etc. this past week I have found a small lump about half an inch from my scar. Hard, round about the size of a jelly bean.

Doctor ordered an ultrasound. I am freaking out!!!


Wouldn't my blood work of showed something if it was a reoccurrence?? Could something like that change so quickly??

    Just want you to know that you are not alone.  I finished treatment almost a year ago.  now I feel a lump under my arm where nodes were removed.  Im praying for us both.
