hypertropic scar and scared of recurrence (as usual...)

I am now two years post exchange. At the final surgery my right breast, which was the DCIS side, had healed with a thick scar toward the centre of my chest. It was always red, raised and a little more swollen than the rest of how i healed. I attributed it to some lymphedema and just didn't bother with it.

But it was bugging me after a while and a few months ago it was becoming painful. I went to see my oncologist for the 6 mo usual check up and she didn't have any concerns. And suggested I go to the ps. So I did and he said it was a hypertropic scar. It was painful. I was concerned I was having some capsular contracture because I was having pain so much i was using advil and a heating pad.

My ps injected some steroids and lidocaine into the scar. It immediately changed from a tight and thick area of skin to a loose and relaxed area. It was literally instant. The pain was immediately gone. It was a miracle! The ps had his intern give me the injection along the scar and now - right where he gave me the injection - there are three little white dots under my skin - travelling the same path that his needle did during that injection. it looks like white or yellowish whiteheads are under my scar skin. Like pus of some kind. Its bothering me because I don't know what it is and everything makes me worried about recurrence.

I was originally booked for an MRI after the initial injection from my ps but i found out i am pregnant so the MRI was rebooked for next year. But - just wondering if anyone else dealt with hypertropic scaring this far out from exchange? Maybe I had it all along and it just became bothersome? Another thought I had is that I really didn't have nerve endings in my breasts until recently to be able to feel pain in my chest - so maybe some nerve growth was coming back. I did go through a long and annoying itchy spell and I think that is also a symptom of nerve regeneration?
