I came here a few months after I was diagnosed and was so happy to be a member, have my questions answered, realize I wasn't dying and cried for those who were. I had tonsil cancer in 2008, only had rads, and am now in remission for that. Both of my parents died of cancer, breast and lung; I'm older than both of them when they passed away. Right now all is fine except that I'm getting really really old.

A friend since grade school is undergoing treatment for breast cancer and I'd like to send her some encouragement. I remember there were a few videos that I liked including one that was seen here that many of us watched over and over. When I say I remembered it, I only remember that it was filled with hope, was uplifting but was also realistic. It was about a woman on a journey, where ups and downs were normal, and had background music and conversation shown as lyrics on the screen. This was not a vid by a pop singer but most likely from a breast cancer organization or a poet/musician/survivor. Let me know if you remember it or maybe can give me more hints if you don't remember the title!

There was another that was a tear-jerker that I totally enjoyed although I'm not a country music fan unless it's Willie, of course. Rascall Flatts "Sarabeth." It was popular around the 90s and at least for a decade thereafter. Not about breast cancer, but beautiful nonetheless.Anyone else have some great songs or vids to share?
