HER2 - pos, DCIS that was caught while still intact

It seems I haven't crossed paths with too many people who are HER2 pos, with DCIS, that has not infiltrated, but large at 9.5 x 6.5 x 3.9cm. I opted for a bilateral mastectomy and have not needed any chemo or radiation which I am so thankful for as my Drs. had been watching me for over a year.  Although scans in 3/14 of same yr were clean...by my 11/11/14 surgery things had grown quickly. Would like to here from anyone who has had the same experience and hope they can share with me that they are still doing well.

I'm here too, pure Dcis in 2011 left mastectomy no recon then follow up every 6 month with mri + us or mammogram.

Last month new pure dcis on right side and mastectomy with no recon too.

My bs sad follow up now will be us every 6 month at her office, not sure if I'm happy with that alone, I have decided to have genetic test done too since I was 32 first time and 36 second plus I have an aunt that had breast cancer twice when she was 37 and then 44 btw she is 60 now!

Which are your fillow up plan now Sixty and Love?

Elise, sorry to hear about the new DCIS. I see my MO every 4 months for f/u. Not sure what will be done next visit, but with second visit my doc just looked for lump through palpating...sigh
