New pain 2 weeks post op lumpectomy

Morning ladies,

I had a lumpectomy done 2 weeks ago to remove a tumor at the 11 o'clock position. This last week I have only been a tad sore off and on. However yesterday I started having sharp stabbing pains in my breast under my nipple. I went to change last night and the bottom half of my breast is all bruised. Is this normal? I don't want to call my surgeon on a holiday weekend if this is to be expected. And advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
