Papilloma after DCIS?

Hi everyone. I had a lumpectomy for DCIS in September. 2 mm, ER+. There was ADH in the margins, but my BS said that did not require re-excision. I opted for no rads. My 6 month follow up mammo two weeks ago showed concerning calcifications; birads 4 here we go again. I got two stereotactic biopsies of my right breast last Thursday. The radiologist called me and said the calcifications were benign BUT one of the biopsies showed a papilloma with no atypia. She said I will need surgery to remove it because it can hide cancer cells. Has anyone else faced this after DCIS? I've now had 6 biopsies, 4 in this breast, plus a lumpectomy. My surgeon is fabulous but is on vacation this week, so I will need to talk to her next week. I have dense breasts and I'm concerned that there is cancer hiding in there that we don't see on the mammo -- when there is so much happening in there that we have managed to see, what is lurking that we can't see? My mother and her sister both died of breast cancer. I did genetic testing, and I do not have a BCRA mutation; however, I have a mutation of another gene that is associated with higher risk of breast cancer after menopause (I had surgical menopause: ovaries removed in 2009 for benign cysts; my mother and aunt got breast cancer after menopause). Just, thoughts anyone? Experience with papillomas after breast cancer?
