Spotting after stopping Arimidex

I stopped Arimidex about 3 weeks ago after having an allergic reaction. I am post menopausal after having my ovaries removed last fall. About 9 days ago, I started spotting. Just a little tiny amount every day. I emailed my ob gyn who said it was probably withdrawal from the drug and to message her again if it hadn't stopped after 7 days. I just messaged her that the spotting has continued and am now waiting to hear back.

Did anyone else have this side effect after stopping?

I also know that bleeding can be a sign of uterine cancer so I am a little freaked out.

Thanks for any help or advice while i wait for my doctor.

Hi Arya, Imsorry you are going thru this. I am glad you have a call into your doctor, as thats always best. I know the waiting is hard! I do not have experience with this, but I am bumping your question back to the top of active threads, so hopefully someone can respond. My thoughts are with you thru this!
