I did look into DCA and Michelakis a few years ago when the results of a very small human trial came out. It did not impress me, but if they had added 5 more people and all of those responded, it might have been another story. I hope he gets more funding.

My neighbor said her mom has ovarian cancer and DCA helped her tumor markers go down. But then she stopped taking it and the cancer is back. I asked why she stopped taking it? Now I know that being pricey has something to do with it. Has anyone tried DCA?

Hi new. I've been taking DCA for years. I'm pretty sure it's part of the reason I'm still here, though there's never a way to know for sure. If you want to know where to get it relatively cheap, let me know by pm if you live in the US or Canada. I'd be happy to answer any questions about my experience with it as well.

Edited to add if you're in anywhere other than the US, you will need a prescription for any of the legit sources I know about.
