Lymph node biopsy

I had DCIS covering my whole right breast. This happened in just a year after a completely clear mammogram .
I had a bilateral mastectomy and they took some lymph nodes to check if it spread. The initial test that day saw no cancer. But now the surgeon wants to see me and I am afraid after more testing they found that it spread. Anyone experience this?
