Young and experiencing symptoms, worried to death!
Hello everyone, new here to this forum and I'm looking forward to having this circle of support...lord knows I need it right now! I noticed about a year and a half ago a small lump on my right breast. I went and had an ultrasound and they recommended keeping an eye on it, no for sure signs yet as what it could be and to come back in 6 months. I noticed a persistent itchy red patchy rash around the lump, and the Dr recommended trying a very strong cortisone cream to use at 10 day intervals and it should wipe it out. I kept using it and the rash only continued spreading and would NOT go away and is constantly itchy. I ended up moving to AZ around when I should have gone back, and continued to try and use the cream to no evail. About 3/4 months ago I noticed two more lumps that were very noticeable to the touch and painful. Now the rash has spread to my other breast although there isn't any lymps. I should have gone back to the Dr when the rash didn't go away but I ended up going when I found the new lumps. I had an ultrasound done and they recommended an MRI, but couldn't have that done because my insurance is in California. I just went for another ultrasound today through them and they will have results for me Monday, and I have an appt with the general surgeon for an exam since I will be gone Sunday.. I'm a nervous wreck and am trying to be as positive as I can. I have breast implants and heard the chances are lower with them...but I'm only 22 but have had all sorts of issues with my body, developing preclamsyia during my pregnancy and extremely irregular periods. I'm not sure...as you can see im just in not knowing and its driving me crazy...I guess ill know when i have my results back or get some info tomorrow. do you guys have any related experiences or advice? Thank you so much for your time reading this guys...sorry for the novel I needed to vent.
Here are some pictures of the rashes. By the way I have never had any sort of rash like this and it's been there for almost a year now

Mine kind of looks like that but mine looks a little worse. Mine became inflammed and swelled. It's itchy and peeling as well. I am on antibiotics and it took away the pain and the swelling, but the rest seems to be the same. Have you tried oral antibiotics yet or been told it might be an infection?
Right now, having appointments lined up is probably the best thing. It's just a waiting game until you can figure out what is going on. Best of luck to you.
