Suddenly, have dark circles under eyes

Options

I've had 12 Taxol treatments and 2 AC cycles by now and I noticed I have these dark gray/reddish circles under my eyes. This is new for me and I wondered if anyone else has this problem. It's not so much that I'm looking for a fix, but I wondered if this was part of this whole ordeal. I've only lost a couple pounds and overall my health has been pretty good considering what's happening, so I don't think their looking this way due to weight loss. Thx for any comments!

With a fair complexion, everything like that looks worse on me than someone who has a little more color! I can easily get dark circles when tired/under stress but don't recall whether they were more pronounced during chemo. The skin in that area is thin which means there is not as much pigment or epithelial tissue to cover dilated blood vessels, etc. Ask your clinic nurses what they usually see and if people get back to normal quickly once treatment is over so you'll know what to expect.

The Look Good Feel Better classes put on by the American Cancer Society are nice due to the makeup tips & free samples they provide and can prove helpful in situations like this...

That's a great idea! I'll look for those classes here. I've seen them online before. Thx!
