I had a biopsy two weeks ago for a small questionable "thing...I don't really remember if dr said it was a cyst or lump or whatever" he asked if I wanted to wait six months or have biopsy now. I said I rather do biopsy then.

I went for results today and it was insufficient results. And doctor ordered test n ultrasound in six months.

Has this happened to anyone? What should I do?

It sort of happened to me in that they were certain from imaging and ultrasound that my lump was malignant. The results came back benign so they redid the biopsies and again they were benign. They then took the lump away to analyse the whole thing in the lab. The only reason they did this was because I was rated as a Birads 5.

It sounds as though you may have been a Birads 3 to begin with as they offered a watch and wait approach? If you were a Birads 4 I believe they would have automatically done the biopsy.

Firstly I would call and ask for a much clearer explanation. x

I had that in my right breast ( which I had removed after having cancer in my left breast) and my entire breast was clear of cancer. When I got the test results, I asked to go back and take another biopsy of the area to get clear margins. When it doubt, get a second opinion I would suggest.
